Getting There
Reaching Con Dao is possible by both air and sea, depending on your preference and location.
- By Air: The fastest and most convenient way is to fly. Domestic flights from Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho, or Hanoi (with a stopover) are available to Con Dao Airport (Co Ong Airport). The flight from Ho Chi Minh City takes about 1 hour.
- By Sea: You can also take a high-speed ferry from Vung Tau or Soc Trang. The ferry ride typically takes 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on the departure point and weather conditions.
While flying is quicker and more comfortable, taking the ferry allows you to enjoy scenic views of the sea. Either way, the journey to Con Dao is part of the adventure!
