Vietnam maintains active diplomatic relations with countries around the world through a network of over 70 embassies and 30 consulates abroad. These missions represent Vietnam’s interests, provide consular services, and promote cultural, economic, and political cooperation. At the same time, more than 80 foreign embassies are located in Hanoi, with many countries also operating consulates in cities like Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang. Together, these diplomatic missions strengthen Vietnam’s global connections and support citizens and travelers at home and abroad.
