Getting There

  • By Car: From Ho Chi Minh City, it takes about 10–12 hours to drive to Phu Yen via National Highway 1A. The journey offers scenic views of the southern coastline and countryside.
  • By Bus: Several buses operate daily from Ho Chi Minh City to Tuy Hoa (the capital of Phu Yen), with the trip taking around 10–12 hours. Buses are an affordable and convenient option.
  • By Air: Phu Yen's Tuy Hoa Airport (THD) has flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, with the flight time being about 1 hour from Ho Chi Minh City and 1.5 hours from Hanoi.
  • By Train: You can take a train to Tuy Hoa from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. The train journey offers beautiful views of the coastline, taking around 12–14 hours from Ho Chi Minh City.

Once in Tuy Hoa, taxis and motorbike taxis are available for getting around and exploring the province.
